Experience first-hand its tantalizing cuisine as you roll down the Mississippi River on the fastest steamboat of all time.

You will meet directly at the boat pier where the captain and crew will be waiting to greet you onboard. True to tradition in every detail, boarding the NATCHEZ makes you feel as if you have entered another era. The captain barks his orders through an old-time megaphone. The calliope whistles a melody into the air while the great wheel, 25 tons of white oak, churns the heavy waters of the Mississippi. You soon find yourself slipping back in time.
As the NATCHEZ glides past the French Quarter and through one of the world's most active ports, you begin to understand the magic of the Mississippi. For all its history and romance, the excitement of riding a steamboat is as real, rich, and genuine now as it was a century ago.
To tickle your taste buds, your casual buffet-style dinner consists of offerings such as Southern Fried Fish, Pork Loin, Beef Bourguignonne, File Gumbo, Penne Quattro Formaggi, Steamboat Salad, Pilot House Potatoes, Creole Creamed Spinach, and rounded off with New Orleans Bread Pudding for dessert. All meals are freshly prepared on board the vessel.
Whether you choose to dine inside or out, your toes will be tapping and your fingers snapping as your ears are treated to live jazz by the world-renowned 'Dukes of Dixieland'. When the steamboat returns to the dock, you can make your way back to your hotel or cruise ship at your leisure and own expense.
