    For the Boston Freedom Trail Walking Excursion, you will meet at the Boston Common. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

  • Excursion Notes
      • We recommend you bring your camera and cash for transportation to the meeting point, snacks/drinks, souvenirs, tips, etc.
      • Comfortable shoes and clothing are suggested.
      • This excursion does not include entrance to the Freedom Trail Sites which have admission fees (Old South Meeting House, Old State House, and Paul Revere House). Guests may return to those sites at the conclusion of the excursion and purchase entrance tickets on their own.
    Excursion Restrictions
    • A voucher will be sent in a separate email than your e-ticket. This voucher must be printed and brought with you to give to the local operator. Without the voucher in hand, you will not be allowed to participate.
    • Guests may not book this excursion more than 6 months before their excursion date.
    • Ticket holder must present a photo ID.
    • Redeem your e-tickets on the Boston Common Visitor Information Center for a timed tour ticket.

    Is the Boston Freedom Trail Walking Excursion canceled if it is raining?
    The excursion can be operated in rain or shine, however, it is the local operator who decides if the excursion is canceled due to safety reasons. It is always best to check ahead if you have any questions. There is a contact number on the ticket.
    Are there any restrooms?
    Yes, you can use the public facilities.
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the Boston Freedom Trail Walking Excursion to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
    Cancellation

    For the Boston Freedom Trail Walking Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.

    For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:

    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
    • Your ship skips/misses the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
    • Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

First, we loved our guides, they are simply the best. History is not boring if well explained. I'm glad I choose this tour because it was meaningful and also had fun. No complaints at all. I got what I paid for. By the way, the Old Corner Book Store is a must.

My husband and I did this recently when we were in Boston for a cruise. It was really entertaining and great for all. The tour guides are dessed up. they sure know their history! It was really like a step back in time seeing all of these iconic places.

Cool excursion if you are new in town or visiting. We are taught this history lesson in school but being there made me feel proud. The tour guides we real fun and knowledgeable with their 18th century clothing!
