    Meeting Point

    For the New Orleans Cemetery and VooDoo Excursion, you will meet after a short taxi ride from your cruise terminal. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

    Excursion Notes
      • We recommend that you bring your camera and cash for transportation, snacks/drinks, souvenirs, tips, etc.
      • Comfortable shoes and clothing are suggested.
      • Guests in wheelchairs are welcome and need to be accompanied by an adult booked on this excursion.
    Excursion Restrictions
    • A voucher will be sent in a separate email than your e-ticket. This voucher must be printed and brought with you to give to the local operator. Without the voucher in hand, you will not be allowed to participate.
    • Guests may not book this excursion more than 6 months before their excursion date.
    • Ticket holder must present a photo ID.

    Is the New Orleans Cemetery and VooDoo Excursion canceled if it is raining?
    The excursion can be operated in rain or shine, however, it is the local operator who decides if the excursion is canceled due to safety reasons. It is always best to check ahead if you have any questions. There is a contact number on your excursion ticket.
    Will there be restrooms?
    Public restrooms are located along the New Orleans route. You can as well access to the bathroom on restaurants and bars.Ask your guide to point the nearest restroom when needed.
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the New Orleans Cemetery and Voodoo Excursion to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
    Cancellation

    For the New Orleans Cemetery and Voodoo Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.

    For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:

    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
    • Your ship skips/misses the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
    • Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

Had this tour before we started our cruise out of New Orleans recently and we thought it was really exceptional. Our guide made it incredible, giving us a lot of information about history and tales of the traditions and beliefs. We had heard of Marie Laveau and actually got to see her shop and grave. Really impressed with their customs and culture.

This was an educational tour and more of a historical tour. So many stories invloved that have to do a lot with traditions and history. Tour guide was very respectful and knowledgeable.
